In my eyes, after visiting today, the inn has not earned a single star. The food was a catastrophe ... We ordered 6 main dishes - we were able to let 2 go back after slicing the meat. The meat wasn't through at all, including a turkey schnitzel !!! In the case of two others, the meat was 'medium', even if it was not ordered in this way. (According to the motto eyes closed and through it was eaten) In terms of taste, the spaetzle was not a hit. Expected more after promoting "Brettspätzle". In any case, it's not really Swabian. And the cook doesn't know salt at all ?! Most of the Cordon Bleu's only tasted like fat, we have eaten much better by far. The waiter made an unmotivated and unappealing impression. No excuse for the claimed food, rather a mushy "we serve our meat medium". But this is not written anywhere and between medium and almost as is not at all a huge difference ... and for heaven's sake, since when are you turkey meat medium or in our case as good as raw? The meat was totally 'glassy' ... Well, let's get to the desserts, asking for € 11.50 for two scoops of ice cream and some cream is heavy ... The same price was asked for hot plums with a scoop of "ice cream". For the plums, I can somehow understand the price. But the best thing was that we had to let one of 4 desserts ordered go back! A 5cm long thick black hair adorned the arranged dessert !!! Really disgusting !!! After this experience today it was our first and last visit! We regret having left 180 € there for this evening. I think the money would have been better stored in many other restaurants.

Yes, there are still these home-style Swabian country inns. This is one of them. In the rustic half-timbered ambience there is regional cuisine with offers that match the season (mushroom dishes, game dishes, asparagus, etc.) In addition, the usual classics (recommendation: the cheap and good sausage salad or the Swabian roast beef). Lunch with soup or salad for less than 10 euros. Small wine list with mainly local wines. Good value for money, so it's worth a detour.
Delicious food. Service could be better but not bad. Nice backyard to eat outside.
Atmosphere is great, food is okay, prices are high, and if a party is there you lost as a single guest we were to 8 and have to wait forever a pity
Considering that there is only a cook, a service technician and a cook then you can really no criticism, especially it is logical that it is holidays on Easter, Christmas or other before and after that is very stressful because everyone wants to go out to eat But nobody wants to learn or help anymore in the restaurant. Sad but true ! And there are rarely restaurants that can do so much with three people and where everything is homemade because the love of the job is there. Freshness is very important here and when the house is full, it may take a while longer for the food to be freshly cooked on the table. And even with larger groups with a menu, the roast and so on take a lot of time. I have to say I'd rather wait a little longer if I can see it's full, but I know that I only get fresh, homemade and above all regional stuff. Also, I think you should on holidays, celebrations in the group or other not under pressure eating finally you want to enjoy and sometimes a break between the courses I can only recommend the restaurant because the team always tries to fulfill every wish and makes you feel comfortable

The food was good. The service was not available in the end. For example, I had to wait for almost 20 minutes for an espresso. Reserved with about 40 people with pre-set menu. 3 courses served in about 3 hours. Long waits for food and drink.
We had to wait for 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food, my salmon was slightly over-salted, but the vegetables did not get any salt, others at the table had ordered their meat roasted, and how did it happen? Not fried, never again Gasthaus Krone. For the long wait, not even an apology came
Onion roast was perfect medium. The dessert (especially the Waldmeisterparfait) were very delicious. Gladly again.
It's always pleasant to meet family or friends at Geisler's KRONE. In summer in the quiet beer garden, otherwise in the historic pub. Boris Geisler cooks every dish with a skilful and tasty extra, from regional dishes to fish variations! New is a table grill with an integrated fire bowl for smaller groups. We are already looking forward to seeing you again at KRONE zu Löchgau. By the way: there are parking spaces for many cars

Very good food at slightly higher prices. Pleasant atmosphere. You can also spend time comfortably outdoors.
